As written above, you will have to title them. You do not need to register them unless you want the plates.
Also, GL will only give you a SF-97 for one year after the sale. Don't wait till next year to think about that.

When fording an M578 retriever we learned to check the water depth by having one crewman stand out on the front deck and hold onto the crane boom. He used a spare antenna marked for the height of the engine air intakes to check the depth as we crept into the crossing. It save us from grief...
OK, the difference between 12 volt and 24 volt lamps arises for the M880 series and M1008 type CUCVs having a 12V trailer light circuit and the humdingers, M715s and M37s having 24 volts lights. Using a 24 volt lamped trailer with a 12 volt truck nets you dim lights. Using 12 volt trailer...
Actually, stooging around the internet a few minutes ago I found that the three fingered pressure plate replaces and is interchangeable with the older four finger one. I don't know if the four fingered one will work with the metallic clutch disk, though.
My concern was that I can put my hands...
Hello
Does anyone know if the older style four finger pressure plate and the newer style three finger plate can be used with both the older and newer style clutch discs?
What I'm trying to figure out is, can the three finger plate be used with the old five point clutch disc.
I have a truck...
JC, was the truck running cool and then began overheating or is it new to you and it overheats?
Is there any chance the belts were slipping? Does the fan hub turn freely? When you look through the radiator hose fittings, particularly the lower one do you see any scale or crud? If the belts...
There is an outfit on ebay with the pump. They've got more than 2000 feedbacks with 99.7% positives. They sell the pump for less than $90 with the gaskets. The lowest price I found from the surplus dealers was $140 and I don't know if that was with or without gaskets.
Cummins 230 335...
The water pump on my M813A1 is leaking. Has anyone had any luck with replacing the seals instead of the whole pump?
Any recommendations of a seller of pumps with decent prices? Prices?
Thanks

Be careful of that heat. I'm outdoors much of the year and decided long ago the cold is often better than hot. You can dress for the cold but can't do much about the heat but "embrace the suck" and drive on.
I've been piling up parts and lubricants for a couple of months now. It was good...
Send those pictures or a link to the thread to Hoot Wade at this email address michelin.webtire@us.michelin.com
He'd be interested.

EDIT: He could also get you the info on the correct pressure for single or dual tires on an axle based on the weight the axle carries.
Well, the ol' fun meter is pegged out way up over the red. I'm having so much fun I can't stand it.
I was able to play hookey for a good chunk of the day. I've got a new-to-me M813A1 that Doghead and my son Chris helped me pick up at Fort Drum a few months ago and although it runs well and it...
I have to put a rear main seal in one of the deuces. What size and lengths are the flywheel and tranny to engine bolts?
It started barfing at D8Dave's and I'll be doing the dirty deed there. I don't want to have to stop to find a supplier of grade 8 bolts.
I searched and came up dry. Any...
For #1: When the engine is stopped the crankshaft stops turning and the accessories keep turning forward until belt tension and bearing friction stop them. The result is that any slack tends to be piled up in front of the accessory between the accessory and the drive pulley. Checking the belt...
Well, Seth.....On one "starts and runs" M35A2 Cwe found both front brake cylinders leaking, the master cylinder bone dry and a badly leaking rear main seal. It took some work and stress but we were able to get the brakes working and got it home under it's own power. The clutch was slipping for...
He's just being polite and make things nice and easy for the accident investigators when he flips the truck over and the buzzards are circling it.
