?...I have had the original NATO jump cables in each truck..( with U.S. adaptors) and in the tank..( years and years and years..), they absolutely do the job intended no fuss. So why divert..?...Just curious.
I just don't see how it ran, even the outlet pipe was blocked, and the hose split. I have heard of 'deuces' will run without the in tank pump, but that is taking the proverbial.
HOW did I miss or forget that? We did everything else. (not required as it now seems).

The M45 530C has two heaters..so driving in these sort of conditions is 'snug'.

Here is where mine is mounted. And it has been used in 'anger' twice on re-splicing winch ropes. The vice swivels and rotates. It has two jaws. clamp and wire. there is a retaining clip that secures the bar behind the bumper.
Absolutely agree with 'DO NOT' tow it at night!. And in addition remember you have to have brake lights and turn signals. ( trailer board..easy..cheaper than a fine!) My oft repeated motto.." the best (only) way to keep out of trouble"..is to "NOT to get into it in the first place"!.
