    V100 Project at the Museum

Forgot to add a pic of the funky e-brake... Also forgot, LAPD added at least 4 cig lighter receptacles for powering things, one was added into the rear dome light. It, the light, was unplugged. I asked Craig why it was not plugged in, he told me that LAPD said there was a short in the light. I...

    V100 Project at the Museum

What started out as a simple axle boot replacement turned into a fairly major repair. This V100 was on loan to LAPD and returned a few years back. LAPD was to do the upkeep on it. I do know that the had the engine overhauled and had axle issues. See here...

6CTA8.3 engine rebuild for Sur Móvil

Call Cummins with your ESN and see if there is a ReCon pump available, just to see if there is a big difference in price. It will be"stock" so you will need to tinker with timing mods.

    Hydraulic lock after filter change?

If you had a fuel issue in cylinder at start there would be a knocking sound that goes away, kinda sounds like a marble in a can, and heavy white/grey smoke that eventually goes away as well as lots of slobber out the exhaust manifold joints

    M35a2 and M109

Does it need the generator? If it does, it would probably better to use a modern generator, they are quieter, easier to get parts for and make better power for electronics.

    Fuel Issues....

Your post seemed as though you bypassed the pump, no biggie. The only way to measure the cranking flow is on a pump stand. A trick to try and force feed rail pressure is to pinch/plug off the return line going back to the tank, do this as close to the engine as possible. It should make some...

    Fuel Issues....

^^ That is incorrect. A PT system has no pressure at idle, only a spike on acceleration. There will only be flow, measurable with a flow meter in lbs per hour. Rail pressure only happens when loaded. No cracking lines needed, it is self priming. PT screen filter is only there IF a pump failure...
