    mystery wire

Yes, you should have continuity to ground if that is the white wire coming from the 4WD indicator switch. You will need to select 4WD to close the switch to ground. Karl

    Wait Light Stays On

The Wait light is turned on by it's own transistor from the glow plug card. The glow plug relay is turned on by a seperate transistor. Check to see if the glow plug relay is closed the entire time the Wait light is on. Either way, it sounds as if you have a defective card. Karl

    mystery wire

If it's a factory wire, it may be the white wire coming from the 4WD indicator switch. This is the only all white wire that I can find on the F-4 cab ignition circuit schematic. To test it with an ohm meter. Connect one of the leads to ground and the other to the white wire. Shift the transfer...

Which Injection Pump for M1009 (85')???

I bought a DB2-4544 From Orgeon Fuel Injection for my M1009. I do not remember what model pump I removed, but it was not a 4544. http://www.o-f-i.com/index.php?pid=14#INJECTON_PUMP,_6.2L_&_6.5L It works well and I have had no problems. They shipped it right away and I received credit for the...

    License Plate on your M1009

Here is how I installed my tags. Angle aluminum held on with beam clamps. And yes, the license plate light was an afterthought. I was told that in PA you don't need a light if the vehicle didn't come with one. But for the $4.50 it cost to install it, I was better off to install one and not get...

    Glowplug Controller

Pricing has not yet been determined. Still testing the first batch of production boards. Awaiting the results from the individuals that are conducting the tests in their vehicles. It may be a few weeks until the results are analyzed and if any changes need to be made. I have been using the...

That's a really big truck. The spec sheet states that is 356 feet in length! That is 7 feet shorter than the Saturn V launch vehicle.

Personal modifications- make my life easier

Nice work and it looks good. KsM715 is correct about the cable clamps. Just remember this saying when installing cable clamps "You never saddle a dead horse" The saddle goes on the "live" side of the wire and the U bolt goes on the dead end. Keep up the nice work and Thanks for sharing the...

Need Pictures of Vietnam Era Deuce w/soft top & No Winch

Antique tags do not require the annual state inspection. Vehicle has to be at least 25 years old and in like new original condition. Classic tags require you to get the vehicle inspected. And it too has to be in like new original condition. Both have a $75 one time fee for the tags...

    The trip home... Finally!!

Good Job Dan! I am glad that you finally got your truck home. I got a good laugh watching you drop the master cylinder, air pack, wrenches, bolts and everything else on your self. Your reaction time greatly improved. By the time we were done, I noticed that the heavier the item was that you...

    Injection pump installation

On my M1009, I installed the IP then installed the lower injector lines. It takes a little bit of doing to get to the lower lines to tighten them but it can be done. I think I used a long open end wrench and was able to get to all of them. Take pictures of the IP with the lines connected prior...
