I am in need of the measurement from the front of the skid frame to the front of the M116 gen trailer so I can drill holes to bolt the set down. My trailer was setup for the older gas sets in tandem. Looking for factory mounted set measurements please.
Thanks
4th trip to Dogheads this past Friday to recover 5 M101A2's a MEP-003A and a deuce winch kit. Left Maine 9pm Thursday arrived Friday 745am. DH had the wrecker warmed up and ready to load. DH loaded the first one then handed the controls over to my son and with some DH instruction had him...
Saw this trailer for sale on ebay 260589391797. It has 16" wheels and if you look at the u-bolts they don't look like they have been taken off indicationg the axle is original. Curious how they may have done this, perhaps change the hub? Looks like it would make the 105 more user friendly. Just...
The A3 has wider fenders, sometimes with an extension sometimes factory made one piece, wider axle for the hummer tire, was not aware the axle was different other than wider. They also usually have the jack built into the landing leg. Another thing I noticed was that most if not all of them did...
Where the fuel line passes by the oil pressure gage there is an elbow with a check valve, had one of these stuck and caused the same problem. Simple blast of compressed air fixed it. You can confirm your fuel flow by unhooking the line at the injector pump, placing it in an empty container and...
Heading back to DH's to pick up some more trailers this Thursday night, 22nd. Will be headed there with the 28' gooseneck empty. Return trip will be pretty full but I can always find room for smaller stuff. If I can help let me know.
In order to get 3 on the trailer you will have to stack one. When you get it home find someplace with a forklift or backhoe and have them take it off for you. I have hauled many 101's and the best way is to make some stakes for the pockets and then stack, that way it can't slide around. I'm...
Received an answer from the seller today, he "thinks" it's 400Hz and says he doesn't understand why someone might be upset if they get a 400Hz unit. He will probably find out soon enough.
There is a 10k Mep on ebay 230458810389. From my experience the vented side cover means 400Hz. I contacted the seller with no response yet. Make sure you always check before purchasing one that it is 60Hz. They also don't mention the fuel tank is missing.
