When I got my truck I could not shift the truck in to low and getting it back into high was a pain.
I found that the shaft that the two shift arms ride on under the truck were loose and had a lot of play in them.

I have one truck that has Dexron III in it (well I think so) and all the other have oil looking color in them.
The problem I see with the TranSynd it cost a lot and if the truck is working ok I would not fix it. Just my thinking.

I got the kit when they were only $350. I did find a kit in CA from a guy, but it was only the box and mounts, He is out of them now.
Yes it does make it hard to get in on the right side. You have to start with your right leg, LOL. I think it was built for the 19 year old.
