And if you can't pre-inspect, prepare for the unlikely. Pawnshop and I recovered two very nice condition trailers off Ft Hood yesterday. Both had the electrical plug cable cut off.

Louie, I saw it wasn't there, but that went on in production for quite a while. :)
My V is early mid-production (around a third of the way through the total production run), it was built with flat driver hatches, no Molotov cocktail 'pagoda', and a few other details which it has now. I make...
Since I spend quite a bit of time leaning in through that side hatch during servicing, I imagine not having it would be a most royal PIA.
While using said hatch, I did learn not to hook up the batteries whilst touching the hatch edge with my sweaty upper arm!
I don't think anyone else liked...
Many interesting features - major items of note are squared wheel wells, very early style turret, one piece rear hatch, pioneering kit where side hatch is on later models. Many detail differences inside. Unique amongst preserved examples (that I know of).
B3.3T, do you know what the bracket...
Warthog has it figured out, we need research no further! We'll bring them to Temple. :)
Generator trailer was actually my first thought, but my faith in that thought has become shaky.
Cheers
They all looked pretty complete, all had rear outriggers, etc. Two had tarped area, two did not. Three had brackets on top of the wheel wells for the outriggers, one had them flipped up on the back and no wheel well brackets (you can just see it at the far right of the attached picture).
I'm...
As stated above, the jerrycan holder is threaded. But they are not all the same! One of my 1009's took SAE bolts, the other is metric. THAT was annoying at the time.
I'll look and see if I wrote down the sizes somewhere.
A side note- one of my 1009's has one metric bolt and one SAE bolt on...
Ah, I didn't realize those two were up (again for #1 in the ad). Price doesn't seem bad if they are in as good a shape as advertised. They need some accessories inside, but not difficult to find stuff.

Stand by for some frustration too. One was found a couple of years ago, ex-police 1033 program. Despite diligent efforts, the government said absolutely no on it being sold to collectors, or even going to a museum. It went into a smelter, hens-teeth-rare wheels and all. Enough to make a grown...
You do a lot of searching on the internet and military vehicle magazines, talk to people in the MV collecting field, follow up on every lead, and be persistent. The process can take years. Luck plays a big part in it, unfortunately.
There are perhaps twenty V100's known to be in private...
Pawnshop and I, not being up to date on the thread, intended to come visit y'all after the tank parade. We were surprised when you lined up and left!
Maybe next time.
We did get to visit with Barrman and Colton, which is always good.
Cheers
Since my last post I have added a military surplus civilian-type 35' lowboy, an M129A4, and a ADC-TSS-5. The TSS is heavy, and it does slow the truck down quite a bit. On the flats I could probably get it above 55mph, but see no reason to try. On shallow to moderate hills on the interstate...
I'm something of a traditionalist when it comes to paint, but that looks really cool. Looking forward to seeing the whole truck when its finished.
Cheers
Yes, I have one on 33x10.50 and one on 33x12.50, neither lifted. No problems with rubbing at all with the 10.50's. When the 12.50's wear out, they will be replaced with 10.50's, they look stock, but a tad manlier.
There are several threads on this, with lots of pictures.
Cheers
