Some of these were re-engined, with the new equipment kinda "stuffed" into the back. Some of it ended up in what was the tunnel area, which is closed off in these versions. The rear door becomes an engine bay access hatch.

Some pictures from the Burnet airshow. Pawnshop had his M1028/M101; Reloader64 had his M35A2; jeepJeep had his M36A3; I had an M1009 and the V. Two other club members brought M-37s.

Well, as Pawnshop said, we went to the Burnet Airshow yesterday. It's about a 35-40 mile drive from my place. All went well, and the airshow folks asked me to haul the little lady who was to sing the National Anthem out front of the crowd to open the show, which I happily did. And she sang...

My son drives those and the LVSR in the Marines. He said the power unit, at low speed, with no trailer/bed, will fall over on its nose if you brake hard (or actually anything other than gently). He says it is extremely squirrely in that condition, and can only move about slowly to reattach...
