Looked at the threads couldn't find the answer. looked in the bbok, couldn't find the answer. So i got to ask "where's my drive shaft?". The front drive shaft is missing. I've read several threads that discuss missing shafts but no reason as to why they were removed.
Anybody know where /...
Not unheard of. How many miles do you think are on the truck?
Please don't take this as patronizing. When troubleshooting an engine three things are required: fuel (got that) fire (got that) and air (got that). You beaten the fuel issue pretty hard. Same goes for the glow plugs. The fact that...
Howdy, just checking in. Everthing you describe is a blown head gasket. Reason: white smoke, no power, dies when dropping in gear. There doesn't have to be oil in the radiator. If the break is between the water jacket and a cylinder, no oil can get into the problem. Pressure checks can...
First one...check data plate. Looks familier, can't remember where I've seen it though. Second one looks old enough that if it'll crank, keep it, if for nothing else it's nostagic value.
I recently bought my 1009. First thing I looked for is rust. is it repairable or not. Next, start it up. Does it sound like a drier full of old lawnmower parts? Thats what its supposed to sound like. Does it have all its parts, lights, jack / handle / crank, etc. Tire condition is...
My tan deuce has an arctic top. Works great in the winter. keeps the cab toasty warm in the winter. I'd say keep it original. If you ever do decide to sell......:-D
Hope this picture comes through....sorry had to throw my 2cents and try to interject a little rotor humor...
There was a three color camo pattern in Vietnam. It was called (if I remember correctly) the South East Asia pattern.
The third color is white, the belly was painted white in hopes...
Slow is the only problem I have. A note to all: if you are using internat explorer, a new version is out. I have found it to be true, proven by repeated experience, that when IE changes, the older versions tend to get "senile". How that interacts with this site is above my paygrade....
Oh...
Finally a GOOD use for those POS tugs. That is as a tug, they couldn't haul nuttin' cause their gearing was all wrong for what we needed them for. Great to see you guys making 'em into true Jeeps!:grd:
Brown helicopters in TX, Garlick in Montana, if he's still in business, etc. Google the parts, even try ebay, you'd be supprised. H-13 will be difficult, not many left. Since you're in Canada, you may have to find someone with an export license, even for old parts.
Good luck
400 hz is used on many aircraft. You can probably get top dollar from an FBO if it's running correctly. If it doesn't work right, IMHO scrap it cause it'll cost a bundle to fix.
