Well I assume he knows basically what he's talking about - again this is not a small operation this is a major rubber parts manufacturer and at one point did manufacture one of the two pieces (the smaller one) - and he made no mention of the tooling wearing out for such "small" production runs...

The gist of the conversation is that it's probably going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $2,000 to create the tooling. And then some minimum order quantity of 100 to 200 pieces...
Load test the batteries. Number one priority. Disconnect them from the truck entirely for the test.
Transmission computer will be the first to complain about voltages that are out of it's range of operation. Mine did that when I had the over-voltage problem.

For our style of rear cab latch you actually will need 4 bottoms - 2 for the rear cab latch, and 1 each for the front cab mounts.

Correct - compressor and hydraulic pump (power steering) need to be removed. Make sure the Nord-Lock washers are in place on the rear support bracket. Nothing difficult just time consuming and the compressor/pump assembly is rather heavy. I did it without a helper but that was probably stupid...

I would absolutely address this - S&S/BAE had to put nord-lock washers on everything (A1+) attached to the engine to prevent "normal" vibration from causing every bolt to back out. If there is any question about driveline balance I would pull them and have them completely serviced.
