When driving on pavement, free up the rear bogie and reduce tire scrubbing significantly...also a singled out deuce will mark up the asphalt less while reducing the turning circle.

Does any of you have examples of signs or decals on any vehicle related to smoking and the charging of lead acid batteries?
As you know, these batteries may expel hydrogen gas when overcharged and cigarettes or open fires may present a hazard.

Well done homework on the injection pump. How much did you have to turn the crankshaft to make the HD drop in? After removing it, nothing should have been moved and it should really have gone back in without a problem.
Before making any adjustments, check the timing...

Randy, I agree with you to a point, a cover should be there to keep out the elements, but there must be ventilation. I keep a small tarp on top of it (image below) when the truck is just sitting.
