cucv spotlight mount
Here is a pic off the light removed with the brackets on the back of the light. I would like to know where I can get the connectors that go on the back of the can and inside the can to the bulb. It looks like both the 7 inch lights and the IR lights us the same single pin...
They are L brackets with an extra tab welded to it to make it an F bracket. The bolt in the back tightens to clamp the bracket to the brace.
The bulbs had an up arrow on them and the buckets lined up with the bulb so that the adjustment screws are on top and to the left side when looking at...
you have to get the origional purchaser to buy the sf97 for you. sometimes he has to title it first then transfer the title to you. you may be able to title it in other ways such as lost title or by getting it titled via police inspection and vin certification since it has never been titled...
you have to replace the interior wiring harness. It is very difficult to just replace the fuse box, all of the wires are already crimped into the fuse slots. You would have to splice every wire that comes from the fuse box and that would be a big mess. Search for an interior wiring harness...
It does have the rollers and I have looked at the roller mount. I beleive it removes to easily. Here in the Houston area if it is not bolted and locked down people will steal it just to piss you off. The front plate is not something you notice when it is not there, Thus you don't realize it...
texas requires a front plate. IF the vehicle does not have a place to mount it on the front bumper then you are required to add a place OR keep the plate visable in the front windshield they do not specify where in the windshield. I will check with my local police to make sure that being that...
thanks, the M series headlight buckets that I got from Popacom (I think I got his last pair) are a perfect fit between the rails on the grill gaurd. What is nice about them is you can mount them even and then use the adjusters in the headlight housings to aim the spotlights. You do not have to...
Does anyone know of a way to remove the rear view mirror from the windshield. I need to recenter it and lower it about an inch to make room for my license plate. I installed the shelf where the visors are installed and due to my winch install, I need to relocate my front license plate. I am...
I got my front lights mounted. two 24V popacom spotlights and two 24v IR lights. I made sandwich brackets to mount to the existing front grill gaurd. I now have to wire the lights and install some relay's
post a pic of the wire and someone here can tell you what it does and where it goes. sounds like your alt is putting out to much voltage causing your battery to cook. probably need to rebuild the alt. I need to rebuild my rear alt at this time. It is putting out almost 16volts.
if your truck...
In order to use the AB-3900 could you gut the base and basicly just use the spring and mast since the length should work. They seem to be available and I have mounts on both sides of the truck so could you elaborate on how to use two of them.
thanks for the input. I know nothing about...
I have been looking at an 8.5 foot AS-3900 antenna on sale somewhere and was wondering if it could be modified for CB. It appears the base would fit the cucv mounts. description says antenna was from a hmmwv m35a2. I know nothing about this antenna but if it is 8.5 foot then it is 102 inches...
I have primed the fuel filter base by using a hand vacuum pump (same one for bleeding brakes) connect it to vent line, open valve and pump it till fuel flows without air bubles. If you stop pumping and have to remove the line to empty the cup just make sure you close the valve prior to removing...
the seat mounts in the pics are for a truck or suburban. those mounts wont work on the 1009. Using those mounts the seats will be sitting on the floor. The trucks and suburbans have a big hump in the floor. you may be able to remove the seat from those rails and put them on the 1009 seat...
thanks for the input, I have checked and it is definately an electrical issue. When removing the power to the pump it shuts down. I removed the 6 post terminal, sanded the mounting spot and re-installed the terminal last week and checked it with a meter to other ground spots and the ground is...
I think s10 seats are popular because they are a bolt in exact fit. I do not believe they will give you more room. look for some 80s model suburban bucket seats. they have a plate on the bottom which will allow you to redrill it and move the seat back on the base. I put these in my truck and...
I seem to have a gremlin in my electical system on my 1009. I just rebuilt alt 1 and had everything working again. I do need to rebuild alt 2 which should happen this weekend since it is a little hot. Alt two is putting out about 15.7 volts.
I also have a civy cluster in which everything is...
screws for headlight rings
looking for some screws to the rings on some headlight buckets. I beleive they are M series truck headlight buckets. I have two buckets and rings, but only one had the three screws. I need three more if you have any.
send me a pm if you have them and how much you want...
www.Superbrightleds.com I got this site from another member here on the forum. I do not have the model #s of which ones I used with me but I can post them tomorrow. The leds work good but they do not dim. They are either on or off with the dimmer knob. With the bulbs I used most were a 5 led...
