go to the tm's they have break down diagrams that you can look at that will help you much more than pics. These diagrams will show you where every nut and bolt will go something a picture cannot do.
I don't know all of the part numbers but sometime this weekend I will get the ones that I know.
It is a civy cluster from an 87 suburban. It came with large fuel gauge, speedometer with trip odometer, temp gauge,12 volt meter, oil presure gauge and had one emty hole.
I purchased the small fuel...
trying to upload a video of my gauge cluster working and the uploads keep failing. It is a 50 MB video from my I phone. what could I be doing wrong. info says up to 190 mb MOV files are accepted. Do I need to clear some room in my upload manager and if so how do I do this.
civy cluster install, finished with trans controler
I finished the civy gauge cluster install. All gauges work, I also installed the TCI trans controler behind the dash in the stock volt meter location. I removed the black bracket holding the voltmeter (voltmeter on far left side of cluster...
IR lights installed on 1009
I moved my front IR lights and moved the control box on my winch so that it has a lower profile and the cover fits better. I decided I did not like the
brackets and did not like the lights out that far.
The winch control box was on top of the winch, I used a hose...
I have the 4l80e installed in my 1009 and soon the 205 will be installed, you can use that trans controler or purchase an aftermarket controler, I am using the TCI fast TCU. Even though I had issues getting a working controler, I like the controler. For the TPS you can purchase it from the...
I used all led's, color to match the lens in my 1009. And they are much brighter. I purchased them from Superbrightleds.com. I replaced all but the front blinker lights, by leaving the blinker lights that are under the headlights regular bulbs, you do not have to make any changes to the...
yes, it has to be running to bleed the lines from the IP pump to the injectors. when you crack them they should buble and spray some. If the engine dies, close the injector you have open or you can let more air in than you get out. If you do not have good fuel presure at the injector after it...
with that info it sounds like you have air in the system. my old 1009 had a similar issue, it would run at idle but nothing more. turned out to be the mechanical pump was only pumping about 10% of the fuel it should have, thus I got fuel to the filter and thus I thought it was good but it did...
many possable issues: manuel fuel pump is bad, IP is bad, fuel filter is clogged, sock in fuel tank is clogged. Air in fuel system. check to see if you are getting fuel to the IP. IF not check the filter, fuel pump and then to the tank. If you have fuel at the IP then bleed air from system if...
to size your genset, your electric bill has little to do with it. you need to determine your full load amps you wish to power. you need to know how many amps your AC, fridge and any other appliances draw at full load that you want to power. You can shed the load by not using some things but...
If you have not checked and replaced the belt, that is the first thing to do. The brakes and power steering both work with hydro pump and both the brakes and steering put a load on the pump thus either can cause belt squeeling.
patching the hole is easy. figuring out where the bolt came from and what else is missing or broken in the diff would be my biggest concern. The bolt came from the inside of the diff. so something has to be wrong, unless it was a previous failure and they left the bolt there to keep the hole...
My last post was referring to the stock HVAC system. you can go to classic air or there are some other places where you can get a non-factory system that does have an internal fan and evaporator inside. These types of systems require holes in your floor to run the drain lines to the outside...
I beleive the evaporator is actually on the outside of the firewall. you still have the heater core inside but you have to cut a larger hole in the firewall because the air flows through the firewall and back to get to the evaporator. You just have more ductwork inside. The heater core box is...
