When it starts leaking, then fool with it. The more you fool with something, the more probability it will get FUBARED.

Could be a shorted rotor. Could be you installed 2 or more incorrectly. This is not going to be a simple fix. I would pull the Main gen and start testing each component.

You have tested this switch? Right? You really haven't troubleshot anything, or if you have, haven't written it here. I would clean the switch, because thats the way I am. But are you 100% sure thats the whole problem?
