I have a bracket, but I can't do the dWG. The friend that has it concentrates on duct work, so not sure he would have the time/want to learn a CAD program outside of his to learn? I will check next week when I am home again.
That and do the fuel pump turn up. It really gave me some off the line power! Completely eliminates that nagging throttle delay the 8.3s I have driven all seem to have. And yeah it sounds great too!
Have you checked the air pressure in the right rear inside tire? Look out your window, is the sun on the truck? If not you must wait until the chickens have crossed the road.
According to the air schematic (TM 23-5, Foldout page 13) the only thing between the compressor (AK) and the Air Dryer (V) is a 250 psi pressure relief valve (W). The PPV is down stream from the air dryer.
Its impossible to know whether what you are experiencing is normal or not becasue you are too vague on what pressure you hear the "blowing off" at. If its below 130 indicated, yes its normal. If its above there (most likely the gauges will be pegged) its NOT normal. At that point you need to...
The signal air for the governor is released from the non-primarysideof the air system. This side is fed air from the PPV. This is why you will have brakes, no accesories, and the compressor will continue to blow off the safety valve. These are all fail-safes to ensure brakes are always...
But....If the truck sits at a destination for some time, it MAY refreeze until the dryer is properly serviced. Short stops it will be fine, and of course it depends on the ambient temps. Just be prepared for that should it happen.
Also be sure to check the ground of the protective control box. May have to pull the bolt and the spacer to ensure no paint is on the ends of the spacer.
Hi Turner, we met at GA Rally I believe, glad to see you got your truck as you wanted. I have the same mismatched tire bounce on my 923A2, so will be interested to see how this plays out.
