Those are usually not too hard to fish out the loose individual ends and recrimp onto the individual wires. Similiar to wires going into a relay connector. Might be easier to try that first.

IMHO NAPA is usually well stocked for that type of match-up./ Any of the others, if you can't put the year and model in the computer, pretty much 'deer in the headlights". If anything, I would try to get the original part number from the TM, there might be other issues besdies just the size...

I would be interested to see a picture. I never said it was on the stud, I assumed it was to the wheel. I bet it is VERY small and they are non-structural (weak) welds designed to break easy with any movement.

Those were put on to show movement of the lugs should they loosen, the welds are sacrificial and will break when the lug is removed. I did not see that on my truck, but have seen the practice. Not saying I agree with it, but it is only there to show movement during a visual inspection.

I have a bunch of left over NOS micellaneous wire harnesses with 6 - 10 wires with color code and numbering. They are from commercial vehicles and never installed. If you want to throw a few bucks for shipping them, it might make it easier to extend as they will be different colors. Let me know.

I pull a 1900 lb car trailer with a 3500 pound car on it with my 1009 with no issues at all. No problem getting the same top speed (just not up hills!)
