I also got started on the 3 color camo. Not sure I am real good at the pattern, or if I even like it. Maybe I'm just to critical because I got used to all green. Still got to go higher on the truck and the other side, but its a start.

Mike,
Trying to put a trip together to visit the old stomping grounds, this could set the dates for us!
1- Your attendance status: Hopefully
2- How many you plan on coming with you (Wheelspinner +1)
3- MV/Trailer you're bringing: N/A--Regrettably just too far for a 923 run :)
4- Date you...
Andy are the rocker panels good? Would you be interested in cutting them out? I have a little rot on both sides up near where the fenders come in. I could sheetmetal it but that migh be easier. Probably not worth the effort, but figured I would ask.
Well got the new to me seats in and raised them up about 1 1/2 inches. They are much more comfortable then the old RV couch chairs and look a little better. Double special bonus today was I got the heater blowers working and the AC blows nice and cold also! Good day today.
edit: Fixed the pic...

Well got it through state safety and emissions inspection on the first shot. Feels good to build something almost from scratch and have it passed the first go around. Put most of the interior back together, but gotta pull the old seats out, picked up some nice dark green ones at the U-pull it...
The buses do it with special lights with an extra wire and a 2 filament socket/bulb (for non-LED). Not hard, but def different from the common lights on these trucks. They are readily available from Trucklite and Dialite in 12 and 24 v versions.
Yes, do a quick search and there will doubtless be many threads on reducing to two batteries, as well as success stories with replacement choices. Beautiful truck, you did well it appears.
So over the last couple days, I got the new Catalytic Converter in, made a HUGE difference. Also got it registered, weighed (7550 lbs empty!), and first run to NAPA; gotta break it in right :-D
Also got the OE mudflaps mounted, I think they look awesome!
