    Accessory drive seal

The copper ring is the gasket. Slather it with anti sieze and it'll be easier to adjust the belts the next time you need to do it.

    Accessory drive seal

Yup, it'll leak after you touch it. Make sure to get a new wear sleeve too.

Is the oilpan supposed to have this??

Don't reuse the rod, the upper got hot. No damage to the crown, that eliminates pin bore cracks. If the engine was a "fresh" rebuild, could be from a rolled liner packing o-ring. If it has miles on it, it wasn't uncommon to have single hole failures on small cam and BCI engnes thet were run at...

    In cab engine governor located

That bolt is just a throttle pedal stop. All it does is to make it so the pedal travel doesn't over travel the throttle travel in the fuel pump. If you remove it or give the pedal more travel, no performance increase will be had, you'll just end up breaking sonething in the pump throttle shaft...

Good times!! Just got home, I have a few pics I'll put up later. Weather was epic, nice breeze, not too hot, prefect at night. I don't think it could have gotten any better than it was. There was a huge turn out. Lots of very nice trucks. Fastnova, you have a way cool ride!

    M105A2 Brake Inspection

You can take the drum off and leave the hub on. If the shoes are tight, you'll have a hard time getting the drum off.

    931 Brakes Locked at GL

Sometimes a drum and set of shoes will get stuck from sitting, weather, etc. Air it up, chock it , release the brakes and use a hammer to hit the drum. Most of the time that will un stick them. You can also try backing up.

CC, Hole, yes it was a very good day. I still cant believe the carnage in that drum . Hole, you are lucky, if that was my junk, it would have locked up out on the road. CC, glad your alt issue is done! Can't wait for the first night, hope you can make it out. All I gotta do is clean up...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

IIRC, the C in the military trucks had a Bosch MW or A pump, not the P. Cummins didn't start using the P/RQVK in automotive applications 'till 1990/'91. I think it still had the RQV and RQVK governor though.

    Coolant draining into exhaust? Help?

If it has coolant out the exhaust, only 2 ways to get there, from in the cylinder and the piston pushes it out, but the engine would hydraulic, or a cracked head casting in the exhaust port. there were 4 types of head gaskets used in the time that engine was made, laminated w/o water...
