The Deuce as my backup generator

Oh... Don't ever listen to a Lister(oid) You will HAVE to get one... Oh, wait, you CAN'T get one anymore... the EPA just banned them because they are super easy to work on and burn bio fuels extremely well! :cookoo:

    First load- 4500gallons WVO

Unimog, I'm picking it up from large plants- they do the collecting with smaller trucks. They strain, filter, dewater and heat the oil. Then I'm delivering it to a large processor in Charleston, where they convert it to Biodiesel.

    First load- 4500gallons WVO

Yes, the smell takes some getting used too. I've been dealing with it myself for a few years, making my own bio, so I'm used to it. My co-driver was not however. I can foresee a lack of appetite this summer if he is riding with me. 8-) Eric, the trailer has straight air brakes, with spring...

It was 67k loaded, 33k empty. Got the weight tickets back.

    First load- 4500gallons WVO

I think a 920 would be a little bit too big for what I need... A 915/6 would do nice though. I am not currently back hauling the finished product- they are working on getting the plant in Charleston fully operational again. It looks like early next year, I will be hauling from Winnsboro to...

    First load- 4500gallons WVO

Yeah, it started foaming because we were sucking air from the tank in. Also, they only dewater it and filter it to 100mic, so it still is pretty cloudy and gross looking.

    First load- 4500gallons WVO

More pics- the ones in the dark were unloading at Charleston. Also, total loaded weight was 67k. Empty was 33k

    First load- 4500gallons WVO

Well, with the cold cold weather we've been having here lately, the biodiesel plant has had major issues the last few weeks. I finally got to load my tanker that I purchased and haul some oil. Took about 4hrs to load it, as the one tank had 3500 in it and it was coldish, and the heated tank had...

    Broke down - Desperate!!!

If you are using the M915 to tow his truck, that is a simple deal for the lights. They have 12v set up already! just buy a set of lights and a 7 pin round to flat four adapter. Or since you have the truck and will use it again to tow someone more than likely, go with a set of these- Split...

    The Adventure Begins

It looks like the motor pool Sgt had a wrecked aircraft tug, and a wrecked m715. And laughs maniacally, as he asks to be handed the welder stinger... Cool truck! I like the full air brakes! Perkins are good diesels.

    M813 Recovery Problem! Help

My m818 was hard starting and I could tell it was getting air in the lines somewhere. Everyone said replace the lines on the selector switch, but mine were new. I checked all the lines, nothing. Stumped me. Then I noticed a drip from the bottom of the IP pump- the line that comes off and runs to...

    Bead Breaker

My wife broke down and changed most of the 9x20s to 11r20s on her M109 using the 3 pieces of angle iron and a sledge. I broke down a few too. Still could only do 2 each a day. I have just recently started looking for a breaker. Figures, after I've already changed 20 the hard way...

    Installed remote brake reservoir today

I used copper as a personal choice really. I felt it was the best material for the fluid and for what I wanted to do.

    Heating Elements

You have to submerge the elements in a liquid- otherwise they burn out in short order. An old electric water heater works dang near perfect. I would flip it so you have the dome at the bottom, to act as a better drain than what's on a water heater normally. Look for one with the safety in the...
