Thanks for the complement. The body is by Coachworks I think. I fitted the running boards and fender arches as I like the chevy style all in line look. The F350 canme from U.S.A.F.E. Lakenheath. My other one from Mildenhall, and yet another from an unkown base over here. Made two good ones out...
There, is a a worth while project to keep you interested and occupied for a long time. I wish I had some medic experience as you have, so as to use and or demonstrate the medical kit I have managed to obtain over a long period. My ambulance is the F350 and much used in all sectors apparantly...
AHA! now I see what it is'nt..A military thing..thank you, I will definately not be the next owner of it then. Still think it does look rather nice. Ho Hum.
OK, I did think they look impressive, but if thats just paint then I guess I can give it a miss. I was undecided anyway with it looking quite so modern "civilianised". Quite quick I'm told but not a multifuel, another considaration.
I have been wanting one of these for a long time. And one has come up for sale again over here. I really like the looks of it, and the sound of the V8 Cat turbo engine. Only thing making me pause, They do not have front wheel drive. Does anyone over there have any experience of them, as I never...

Body Transfer Pictures
Site crashes trying to add more than one picture , here hopefull are some pictures I found of one conversion. Praga to M54 body.
I did this with two conversions I did. And was fortunate to have two forktrucks and an M62 in the collection. I actually did one on my own, (by) jumping from one fork truck to the other!. and gradually lifting each side. The things we do (did) when we are Young(er). Still kept one forklift for...
Nope. What about a picture?. (worth a 1000 words). that would help as just about any one of a huge range engines would retro fit the M54 series trucks. And in any case surley there is an I.D. in the form of stampings or I.D. plates.

Just think of it as tuning an airiel to suit your CB. As you would with say a dv27 or k7 etc. So buy an ariel Matcher (SWR) meter. ( You should have one allready really). And tune for the lowest peak by adjusting the matcher And your antenna length. Any C.B. enthusiast or radio ham can help you...
