Hey loco. The paint is untouched with fuels and temps thus far. Ive put about 200 miles on my truck since painting. I painted the engine and exhaust stack. No peeling or cracking paint. I've noticed NO breakdown of the paint. It is outstanding paint.

I guess rule the i tank out by cracking the bleeder screw open on the secondaries to see if youre getting fuel

Hi Dave, this doesn't answer your question but may help. Both of my dropside deuces ('88 and '86) were both painted with the MERDC camo pattern. One truck came from the San Diego area and the other was out of Portland, OR.

I am unaware of any other interfaces you can attach to the radio other than a VIC-1 system.

When all else fails, use the correct loudspeaker for the VRC-12 system....LS-454. I agree with you, the LS-671 looks much better than the 454. I've got my radios going through a dash mounted LS-454 and it's going through the VIC-1 system as well. LS are good when the truck is idling but forget...

I'm requesting that week off next year! I am finally going to try and and make it;-). Hmm, I think I'll take two weeks off and make it a family vacation for Disneyland and say "Hey honey, you know there's a really good get together just up the road from us"...haha. I'm there;-) Thinking this...

Wood? I don't have wood in any of my 109 van windows. Not sure if there was a design change with the trucks. Mine is an '88 M109A3 (not a rebuild but an original '88 ). Mine has a cutout for the windows that's reinforced with steel not wood. Got a pic? I'd be interested in seeing that.

I just played around with my regulator. Some guys will chime in and say you dont need the regulator. I love the aom!! Got 2 trucks with them.

A fellow SS by the name of tbanks (tbanks67 on ebay) sells a ton of stuff on ebay. In fact he has NOS headlight buckets listed as well. Just PM him.
