    Low Temperature non-cranking M35A2

Check your starter relay, it may have been a problem all along. Metal shrinks a bit when it gets cold, so a questionable connection can open...

    Deuce fuel consumption per hour

The multifuel engine uses less than 1/3 gallon per hour at idle (2 lb/hr). Edit: Checked the TM.....

    m35a2 air warning buzzer

The light switch work independently of the accessory switch, so you can operate your lights without the engine running. To be different I installed a device (a turn signal flasher) that interrupts the buzzer, so that it goes beep....beep...beep...etc, a much more tolerable sound. The turn...

    M35 fuel bleedback problem.

Makes me wonder about those Push-on type fittings, OPCON reported a problem with them last year on his trip and lost a lot of oil. My 8x8 uses a lot of them and although I haven't had any problem, I'm now inclined to go over them with hose clamps....

    MWO triangle

Does the triangle itself have any significance? The MWOs done on my 8x8 were noted with a stamped metal strip to reference the modifications, which were more than one, BTW and done in 1973 if my research is any good....

    Deuce Pump Questions

The -20 TM holds a lot of info, but it's sort of like not seeing the trees for the forest when it comes to finding something. Here are the specified adjustments.

    Compressor wrenches are here!

The same except for the LDS465-2, which uses a self adjusting pulley and requires a different tool. Edit: Added image of tool for self adjusting pulley.

    VIC-1 Installed....AWESOME!

CARNAC, let me know if you find a source for the CX-10613 cable, the one from the batteries to MX-7777 input. I'll need one for the 8x8 truck.... TIA

    VIC-1 Installed....AWESOME!

Just a reminder, the VIC-1 system is not reverse polarity protected and damage will be done to it if hook-up to the battery isn't correct. Use the MX-7777 suppressor as shown in TM's. Also get one of these "Radio Off" labels from Gary Berg (polverone).

Any members own a wood gas powered mv?

Some interesting reading about the "Kalle" unit. http://www.hotel.ymex.net/~s-20222/gengas/kg_eng.html "Further experiments showed, that the best effect was gained by an adding of about 17% CO 2 to the gasifier, which, under the condition that all of that was turned into CO, results in a...

Any members own a wood gas powered mv?

Joe, you could use a set-up shown schematically here to run a genset. The blower is only used during start-up. and the gas engine keeps the flow of air going thru the gasifier unit by the vacuum it creates. I have briefly looked at propane hook-up for carburetors, which is very similar and the...

Any members own a wood gas powered mv?

Some were actually highly developed, this on recirculates some of the unburned CO2 (carbon dioxide) gases and claims to be up and running in 15 minutes with a pound for pound equivalent fuel milage to gasoline (I'm pretty sure that was the claim)....doesn't sound right...another check for the...
