Item #48 is important. There are probably any number of hooks that will work with it.
For the mechanical extension, I have a different hook...I look for pictures....
Edits: Right click and open link in new window for full res. Added image showing both hooks.
Yes, proper torque is important.
Posted a number of pertinent PS mag articles (old site) over the years on this, for example:

Depending on the reason for having a dual tank system, the set-up can vary.
On my deuce a dual tank system was implemented to start on diesel (small tank) and run on biodiesel/veggie oil, (large tank). The standard 50 gallon tank was divided for this as posted extensively in the past.
The 8x8...
Okay, the yield strength is probably 110,000 psi, since that's what my 8x8 is made of (frame) and also what I have noted for the new MTVR trucks.
As far as the load on the truck, the short wheel base is a plus, but folded behind the cab, my crane adds about 1,000 lb to the front axle load...
Joel, going back to my post about section modulus, it should be made clear that the number is for each rail.
Did you find a formula for the C-channel?
Edit: Call HIAB and ask for actual requirements.
If all else fails and you can't drain the block, simply refill the radiator with (distilled) water, run the truck until the thermostat opens, or remove the thermostat (quicker), so that all coolant will mix, then drain radiator and refill with fresh water again. Run the engine to circulate and...
Thanks Jon for offering to save those trucks! I'm sure Jason (Arkansas) appreciates it, I have seen his fire truck project. :-)
On behalf of others, do you have a place to store them if somebody decided to pay for one or both (not me), just asking...?
Edit: BTW, do they have radiator shutters...
Joel, you may want to read up on structural engineering...
One reference I have is chassis requirements for "Auto Crane Co" cranes and one K-boom weighing 4,755 lb requires a section modulus of 21 cubic inches which results in a frame resistance to bending of 1,000,000 in lb.
One way to achieve...
You did study the PS magazine note first, right? :-)

The "dimmer" setting on the 3-lever switch reduces the voltage applied to the regular lamp bulbs by a series connected resistor. The resistor is a 30 Ohm/8 Watt unit, so the drop across it depends on the load. You'd need another 30 Ohm resistor (also 8 Watt) to ground if only the LEDs were used...
Derek got the explanation right, the only thing I would add is that the flasher is not grounded via the case, but via the "C" wire alone, which must be solidly grounded, usually to one of the mounting bolts.
The new flashers are not good at handling overloads...many posts on this in the past.
The yellow may have faded a bit. :-)
What do you have, the 60 amp alternator or the 25 amp generator/regulator set-up?
Get a digital voltmeter and get an exact reading when the engine is running and go from there, the voltmeter on the deuce is grounded via the dash, so there could be a problem...
