Very good job on the mortar carrier. I used to drive those and M113s when stationed in Germany in 1970-71. They were fun to drive. Much better than the M114A1E1s we had as well. Much higher ground clearance and a much better engine.

The oil filter is a standard KLR650 filter. I found mine on Ebay. I haven't changed the fuel filter. I did drain and refill the fuel tank as I had no idea how old the existing fuel was. I also add Optilube XPD to the fuel for lubricity. Low sulfur fuel is BAD for the diesel...
I'm bringing some cupcakes and cookies, a gallon of sweet iced tea, and 24 cans of soft drinks. I'm also bringing a cooler full of ice for drinks along with cups.
When you ground the generator, make sure you ground it to the house ground and not a separate grounding rod. I have done process control projects in Venezuela. The power in Venezuela that I have encountered is as follows.
1. Normal power is 120 / 240 VAC 60 Hz 1 Ph
2. Industrial power is 240...
I was under the impression that Venezuela electrical power in homes was 120 VAC single phase. You mentioned 3 phase. Are you certain you have 3 phase electrical power in your home? I know that a lot of countries do supply 3-phase electrical power to homes.
You need to look up the law in Ohio and make sure the written law supports what the BMV is saying. If the law doesn't specifically state that you can't title a FMV in Ohio, it is time to go higher up in the BMV bureaucracy and contact your local representatives.
The longest I have been without EMC power is 12 days. My MEP003A ran virtually continuously during that time. I only stopped the generator occasionally to check the oil. Ran perfectly. I mostly pulled fuel from my M35A2 and M35A3 deuces. Drove the trucks to town and topped off. I would...
I also have other diesel equipment. I have a John Deere 5520 and John Deere 4600 tractors, a deuce, a diesel F250 and a diesel Jetta. I simply pull fuel from those tanks and it is always fresh.
PM is very important. When you found crud in the tank, the first thing you should have done is clean the tank and lines, replace fuel filter, clean filter screens on the pumps and change the oil and oil filter before you ever tried to start the engine. You mentioned that the louvers weren't...
I have a suggestion. Drive your truck to the nearest U-haul trailer rental and ask them to let you connect the U-haul trailer wiring on one of their trailers to your truck and see what happens. You can tell them that you intend to rent a trailer later but just want to check out your truck to...
As others have stated, it is most likely that your starter relay stuck closed and caused the problem. However, since you have stated that you have installed a key activated starter switch and don't use the OEM starter button, this is also a potential cause. Is the key switch you are using...
I was working at a creamery in the UK near Chard in England. I was installing a new and expensive process control system that had the computers mounted inside a stainless steel enclosure. A Danish company was also on site, performing some stainless steel pipe installation. A Danish welder put...
That is a very puzzling problem, but I would think the problem has to lie in the truck, not the trailer. I couldn't tell from your video, but does the left light on the truck mimic the trailers left light in that it also goes out when the door is open?
I have an A3 that I've had for almost 10 years now. I had the check valve plug up about once per year. I always carry wrenches to remove the check valve and clean it. The check valve would always be plugged up with what looked like tobacco from a cigarette and green slime, along with...
