Then, of course, there is the solution, the dual tank system, one heated.....implemented on both my deuce and 8x8.

I like biodiesel also, but it's not good at temps below about 35°F, just put a sample in the fridge and see what happens....
Re: RE: Re: RE: I let the magic smoke out!
You'd be hard pressed to find a push button switch with a 60 amp rating.
You would also have to replace the wiring with at least an 8 gauge type.
The starter solenoid may "only" need 35 amps or so, but the spec allows up to 80 amps, that's why you...
Yes, it will turn on two separate circuits, SPDT type, although it has 4 connections, only 3 are used.
It is used to turn on the left or right fuel tank pump in some applications (xm757).
I agree with Dave.
Off hand, I'd say that your starting system is still okay, the starter relay probably never even energized. Look for a short behind the dash, check wire #27, which also goes to the batt/gen gauge.
The deuce has a vacuum gauge for this purpose, look to the left of your steering wheel, when the red is showing in the "window" you have an indication of "vacuum", full red is about 20 inches of water IIRC.
:-) Contact Mike if you need one, or two, or twenty or more, they are for sale......
Thanks Scott, it has been neglected for almost two years, though, but still starts right up when needed. I have been totally preoccupied with the 757...
If you know the specifications for rebound, compression, stroke, lengths and type of mounting then you can find part numbers in Gabriel's "Commercial Ride Control Products" catalog, for example.
Mike delivered a front axle for the 8x8 (a spare from OK) this morning, this man is really moving! After re-arranging his cargo and a quick look at the xm757, he left for John Winslow's place about 1/2 hour ago. We have had a lot of rain during the last 24 hours, but it stopped just in time for...
I have a bench tested take-off that you can have for $20.00 shipping included to CA......
Marked Faraday Signal System 8675930
I have two each, actually, PM me if interested.
Thanks, and after reading your PM again (about too much fuel causing smoke and shut-down), I now need to recheck my fuel valve calibration, which is on the high side, perhaps just a few cc's per minute is enough to make it overheat. The table above specifies 7.5 +-1 and my setting is more like...
