The three thugs who took it worked for me. We were supposed to be locked down for an upcoming FTX. Thug #1, told the gate guard "We will be right back, and bring you a case too"! The Gasthaus down below was a 6-7 min drive. 6 hours later, they cam back to our site towing the jeep with a 1954...
MEP-004A
Advantages: This machine has 1950-60 tech in it electrically. Simple, easy to fix and troubleshoot. The main gen is cast iron. The Engine is a runner. Rare that the engine is a total loss. Mostly, its all the little things thats going to fail, if at all. The MEP-004A and MEP-005A are...
Stolen jeep, returned slightly bent. C-3/7 ADA, 1978, TAC Site Germany
The entire unit walked by this in the morning, and no one dared to look to the left, and look at it. It might as well have been parked in L.A. Well, until Top and the CO walked by, anyways.
LG,
I would find me a terminal strip, and screw it down were the T1 was. Hook the wires up there, in order. Why? Because in 10 years you or someone else may want/need to put this thing back together like it was once was. But to just tape them off and leave them hanging is not a good idea. This...
Use that crap at your own risk. It flat out is not good for these engines.
When you crack the fuel line to the IP here, right at the IP, turn on the E2 and E§, do you get fuel out?
If yes, and the engine will not start, (And sometimes you have to do this a while) then read how to time the IP...
Mostly, when the L5, (fuel Cut Off Solenoid) cuts off, as soon as the S1 turns the engine over, its loosing 24VDC. Go to K16, pin #7. Measure from pin #7 to ground. Start the set. If the voltage drops off, 16 is telling the L5 to shut down. Find out why K16 is doing that.
The army puts serrated washers on the fuel pump mounting bolts, to ensure GOOD grounding. Lots of folks feel its not needed. I kept a box of 100 each washers, and replaced, or installed them when ever I saw them missing, and I had time to do it.
We eat lots of yogurt here, and in the Hospital, I had it 3 tames a day.
I had max antibiotics in the hospital. They came in what looks like half gallon jugs, and I got 4-5 every day. And then all the OTHER stuff. I wore a hole in the floor between my bed and the toilet.
NOW, stop. pause. If you start doing both these two sets in one thread, no one is going to know what is what. So NOW, before you get any farther on. Rename this thread, and start a thread for the other. Or you will be sorry.
Wrong. I have seen a picture of a burnt out HUMMV. I have talked to a friend who is now retired. We can and are doing things like that. And if and when we do Patriot, they will have to ship them our gen sets. 400 hertz is not something you go to Home Depot for.
