Hmm, I would start with your turbo. You definately don't want a runaway engine with a leaky turbo seal. I would disconnect the hoses off the turbo and have a look inside to see if there's an oily mess. If so, don't start the engine until this is taken care of.
Check ebay! There a gal on there that sells all kind of A3 parts. Something like WCgirl is her ebay name. I picked up brand new regulator for .99 3 weeks ago. She normally lists them all the time. Just search M35A3. She also has a bunch of CTIS pars
Looks like you got a Sprag Transfer case there. Do you have a sprag or an airshift on your truck? You probably know this already but just in case. Never ever let your truck coast in reverse. It will bind up your Sprag really good.
You betcha:
NAPA Premium XL 25-9470 (need 2)-generator/water pump belts
NAPA Premium XL 25-9510 (need 1)- air compressor belt
If you plan on changing out the air compressor belt try and get a hold of the air compressor belt tool. It'll make the job much easier. If not, then bring a big set...
Primary Fuel filter NAPA 3511 (bring plenty for the trip home)
Secondary Fuel Filters NAPA 3512 (need 2)
Need 5 gallons of oil. I use Rotella-T 15/40
Tranny/Transfer case/Differential. I use NAPA GL-1 90w
Do you plan on driving her home? If you need help I can definately help you out as long as our schedules match. I've gotten "Dead" trucks started and running in the Mason County rural fire dept's (Shelton included). Love seeing the expression of the voluntary fire captains seeing their over a...
haha that looks like the 5 ton in Shelton, WA!! Is that the one in the Skok valley? Skokomish River valley that is? If so that truck is about 55 miles from me.
Scott, with the deuce tank I just removed them. I put a strong degreasing agent in the tank with water and six handfuls of small smooth river rock. Then just agitated the heck out of the tank to loosen any rust or garbage. Then I did a final rinse with water/alchohol mix. Then let dry. On...
Finally got around to doing a little work to her a few days ago. Managed to drain the 50 gallon tank out. Found about 3 gallons of water in the tank. Thinking it's probably from condensation through the years. The diesel was a nice yellow color that didn't smell like diesel. Oh well, currently...
Great looking truck! I like those vintage side mirrors on her!! You do realize you'll need to get a matching trailer for your new acquisition. Then you'll need to get a back up deuce as well. As Aaron said, let the madness begin...he wasn't kidding;-) It all starts with one truck then it's all...
Wow that is one clean looking trailer from what I can see. That desert tan is starting to grow on me. May need to paint a truck w/desert storm theme. That'll mean I need to secure a trailer like that to got with it[thumbzup]

Had a very interesting interaction with a Nat'l Guardsmen today. I drove my '68 to town for evening service. A guy on a mountain bike followed me to the church and was asking a ton of questions about the deuce. Apparently he drove them back in the day, which wasn't too long ago. He said I should...
Trying to get my wife to drive her deuce down for the event. We'll see;-) She did say she'd have no problems driving a HMMWV....hmm, she said it not me. So I can't get into too much trouble if one mysteriously shows up can I? [thumbzup]
