I have a big project I'm working on this spring, so I don't have the money to invest by myself. Thus the idea about a co-op. And you can get ready to run set ups, you just connect to your Dirty WMO tanks and a line to your clean storage tank.
I don't have a "product", I was thinking possibly of a group of guys going in together and buying a centrifuge. From what I've read here, that is the ultimate way to filter WMO, but I suspect a lot of us don't use enough to justify spending that much money. Obviously there would be details to...
Reminds me of what I used to tell the 82nd Abn. guys that I was in charge of as a NG E7 in Iraq when they used to give me crap about being a "leg".
I'd tell them, "I have just as many Combat Jumps as you do, ZERO".
And to REALLY tick them off, I'd show them what I was making with my paid...
Just was thinking about how nice it would be to have a centrifuge, but I just can't justify the cost with MAYBE using a couple hundred gallons every year once I get the deuce up and running. But I had a little brainstorm. This is completely in it's infancy, but I was wondering if it would be a...
I don't start mine much, because it's not road worthy. But it always starts the second time. I imagine a little pressure leaks off the system, but it runs fine as soon as it starts. Very little smoke, and that great C-turbo whistle...
I've been on wrecks where the seat were in use, and the occupant still died. Sometimes there's just too much momentum for a human body to handle. And I've seen some of the older door mounted seat belts release the occupant when the door was popped open from a severe impact.
I would've told them I'm going to stand out in front of the store and tell everyone walking in about the quality of their products and show them the jack until they gave me a refund. I bet they would change their tune then...
The bigger problem is the UV damage to the plastic drums. They'll probably be ok for a couple of years, but storing them in the sun will definitely shorten their lifespan.
Copper vs a life...Hmm lets see.
BTW, I make a very good salary, and it is in no way compensation for seeing that kind of stuff, because it doesn't go away. Wishing death on others is no better than stealing copper. I've probably wished that on others in my life, and it was wrong. We all...
A lot of people here liked the outcome, but I bet that would change if they had to clean that up. That might have been a good kid at one time. Just sayin'. Don't get me wrong, I'd be PO'd if I was a victim of copper theft, but how about we say it would be justice if they lost a finger or two...
Uh, learning here may be the ONLY way some people out there can learn. Not everyone lives next door to an MV Guru... I learned how to bale hay completely from the internet...
Good thing I'm so busy, I have a couple of drums of WMO that have been settling for about 8 months. I'll start filtering in May or June when it warms up. I've used old diesel and gas, a little fresh gas as well to thin it. Once it's run through the filters it should be decent. I'll probably...
