I'll NEVER get in a self driving car unless it's a Disney World ride. As for what to do? Take their license to drive and make them walk. Until then just keep publicizing that stupidity cost another person texting their life.
Just the other day while a significant amount of snow was falling, I passed THREE PEOPLE IN A ROW, on a Cloverleaf on the interstate that were texting. They're working on more legislation to try an combat this. The thing is they already have two laws on the books they can use. The only thing...
I continuously check my mirrors so I can keep track of who's around me, kinda like an air traffic controller. I don't feel the need for a camera 99% of the time. The only time it's useful to me is when there's a crowd of people, and then I'd want to have a backer anyway. As for the narrow...
"If you're smart enough to text and drive and you're going to keep doing it, please get out of the way. Some of us are task focused and need to deliver your goods that some of your tax dollars pay for. "
If they had any smarts at ALL, they wouldn't text and drive. Only morons text and drive...
I don't have to hold my breath, I wouldn't want one anyway. I'd take a good ol' M151 over a HUMVEE any day. I fit in one of those better than the truck that's twice as big.
Something no one else has mentioned is the bed of the deuce. I'd put some kind of non-skid surface on the floor of the bed, it can be kind of slick when wet. Either some kind of spray in bed liner, or paint it and put down sand or grit while still wet. You might also want to add some heavy...
On a related topic, have you found any windows from Lippert that are the same size?? I desperately need a new slider, or even a solid window to replace the original that's all rotted.
Here's some pics of my setup, which I hope to have done in the next week or two, before it starts getting cold. Both of the drums are settling tanks, the one on the left is my improved version. I let most everything settle in 5 gal. buckets (sealed) for at least a few months. Then it goes...
Old distillate and diesel tractors had those in the 30's and 40's, so it's been done. Probably putting a 2 gal. gravity tank under the hood with a way to remotely open and close fuel line valves would be all you need to do. The hardest part would be to rig up the linkage to operate the valves.
But you really need the steps, otherwise you can't get in and drive your deuce...

OK!! FINALLY, after two machine shops, and way too much time, I got some made up. I've got an ad in the classifieds, so check it out if you're interested. If I sell the 3 sets I have, I can have more made as people are wanting them. I'm satisfied with the quality, but these guys are not...
Anyone remember which thread showed how to make a homemade bleeder?? And is it denatured alcohol you use to flush the system?? I can't find those threads and I've searched for an hour.
I forgot the subject of the OP, I'd be using my 50/50 in a multifuel deuce.
As for the "petroleum lobby", the Government makes more off of a gallon of fuel than they do. Personally, I'd rather give it to "Big Oil", at least I can buy stocks and make a little money back.
