As mentioned the van box is notorious for leaks. Definately try and get topside to see if you have any cancer to deal with. The leaks and the biggest issues with these van boxes. Check the molding along the wall/floor joint for rust spots and dry rotted boards along the edge. That'll be your...
Sorry man, would have made it up but it was on Sunday. When I'm not working that's the day I give to the BIG GUY UPSTAIRS. That is one great looking bridge truck!!! I've seen that beast on CL a few times here and there.
I have replaced all my plastic wiper motors with the metal ones. The metals ones are much easier to rebuild and maintain. The drawback in the plastic units are the O-rings. Many times guys put air tool oil or somekind of oil in the plastic motors thinking it'll help. But it only causes more...
Just curious, does your truck have a Sprag? I had issues similiar to #2. In fact the truck would completely stop even under full throttle. Shift in reverse then back in first then I would be good. Turned out my situation was a bad Sprag.
No offense taken:mrgreen:. I guess my point is to just keep your eyes open and search. I literally searched at least once every 3-4 days on ebay before I found her.
There was no way I was going to pay the $150-200 for just the plug itself and another 100 or so on the cable. Well, I suppose I...

I thought about mounting them towards the front portion of the fender and opted not to. I figured I'd trip over them for sure. I also looked at the cab and opted not to drill any more holes than I needed to. I also thought having the illumination so close to the driver might interfere with...
Here's some more pics on the handles;-) Time to chalk up another project Scott...haha
Ooops, just noticed the primer red in the pics:-? I suppose I need to paint them. I went with the later chassis handles because they have that nice angle to them and actually brings them about 3 inches closer...
I got off my lazy adipose and snapped some pics of the Auroras. I had the hardest time trying to figure out where to mount these lights. Didn't want to under the bumper (ripped off by the first incline), didn't want to do bumper tops (trip hazard), front of bumper (smashed with first contact...
OK here's the latest I've done. I finally replaced the dry rotted oak flooring with replacement oak. I finally got around to bolting in the 900 series battery relocation box. I plan on running 4 batteries in a 24v configuration (M818 style). The rear slave will allow for charging the battery...
Hey guys thanks for the compliments. My project has once again hit another bump in the road. The funds I had saved up for the van got spent on a new home built computer. My previous computer of 8 years blew a gasket in DEC 2009. After putting the computer off for 15 month it was time.
I haven't...
