hwcurtice, the red lamp affords the ability to use a low light during night ops. This allows you to see at night while keeping your pupils dilated for night vision.
319, great mounting point! I'm still trying to figure out where to put mine. Definately want to try and keep them off the bumper (mounted topside-tripping hazard, mounted underneath-ripped off due to inclines). Do you have a pic on how you mounted them?
Welcome aboard!
Outstanding story! Deuce recoveries are endless on the number of stories made from recoveries. Glad everything went well and Mr. Murphy did show his ugly face. You'll need to make it to one of the several PNW mini rallies we have about every 2-3 months. It all depends on...
I did some PM to my insulated soft top a couple weeks back. I used some black epoxy flashing caulking I got from Home Depot and shot a bead all along the joint b/w the fabric and the plastic channel. My hopes are this epoxy will basically glue the two parts together yet allowing flexibility...
Looks like no hub flipping. Looks like a standard 20" split rim. Looks great like that Scott. I like how the tire/wheels come out to the width of the bed.

LOL I will have fun with those rivets. I suppose now is the time to finally buy a rivet gun..haha. Hm,m are the Harbor Freight air rivet guns any good?
Today is delivery day for the two plates Mark sent me. I need to find a camera to film the UPS guy trying to muscle those two plates out of the truck;-)
I hear you on that Dale. It will be interesting to see where fuel prices sit in July during the peak vacation fuel spikes. We can all gather in Olympia to convoy down to Aarons Saturday morning. Many of us met last year and had a good time convoying down. [thumbzup]
Understandable Aaron, didn't think about the potential liability issue. I think the shooting was pretty much squashed already as there was no interest. Any one have ideas for activities that doesn't involve the possibility of anyone getting sued or hurt;-)?
I'm adding one to my 109 as I plan on having a heavy duty rack over the cab with some weight in it. I figure the shifting weight of offroad driving would stress the cab somewhat. Just adding one for added insurance.
I went to Home Depot and bought some epoxy deck paint for my 109. I noticed they had a pack of dry powder from Behr that can be added to paint. It's suppose to add the non-skid finish to the porch paint. Wonder if that'll work?
