Well, my M35A3 has broken down again. Air pressure problems and I don't have time to fix it. I'll now be bringing my A2 and pulling my M116A2 with MEP-003A genset, but I need to change a front tire first. We'll have plenty of power if needed.

Sears must have sold some generators at one time using an Onan engine. Not likely to be the 002A or 003A engine, but an engine that uses some of the same parts. Good find!

I have ether on mine that works great. If you don't want to use the ether, why not visit your local CAT dealer and ask for their recommendation? The 3116 engine is very common.

I think a lot of people don't empty the air tanks on A3s even though they should. Mine were all plugged up. So was the drain on the fuel filter. It took quite a bit of rodding out to get that opened up.

Copy the picture and paste in in a document and then you can blow it up to read easily.
