    Fuel nozzle leak

The nozzle can be taken apart , cleaned and re-assembled. The pressure in the feed line (the skinny line) is boosted to about 90 psi by the "flame heater pump" when turned on, otherwise the pressure is about 1/2 that, coming from the injector pump. The return line pressure is much less. It...

    Batteries

Re: RE: Re: Batteries I wouldn't be terribly concerned about the cranking amps, the starter motor in the deuce typically only draw 100 to 200 amps unless there are some seriously cold ambients without heating the engine ahead of time. I would be more interested in reserve capacity and that's...

    interstate batteries U6TL lame warranty

Re: 24V battery maintenance charger Chargetek 500 is what you need, it addresses each battery individually and keeps both within millivolts of each other, which is what's required when batteries are operated in series. I had one installed for years in the deuce until a lightning strike took it...

    changing water hose on deuce

RE: Re: RE: changing water hose on deuce I would suggest that you use a tap to clean the threads (3/8-16) and the gaskets are easy to cut from gasket material....an exacto knife works great and a punch for the bolt holes.

    RADIO OFF decal

Gary, I don't think it matters that much, based on the popularity of this thread, the quantity would be minimal...

    changing water hose on deuce

Re: RE: changing water hose on deuce Yes, the key is to be able to slide the hose as needed and nothing has to come off. The originals may have to be cut to be removed, though.

    changing water hose on deuce

Yeah, I have changed all those at one time or another. For the hoses, cut to same length as originals and lubricate slightly so that they can slide back and forth as you install them. I cut my own gaskets when needed and use a gasket sealer (T-stat housing).

    Abnormal 3-lever light switch

RE: Re: RE: Abnormal 3-lever light switch Received two switches from Austin Weber (beltfed34) today and they are both bad.... His descriptin is usually not very complete, so I know I take a chance, but one was crunched from behind with the connector at an angle, the other had a free spinning...

5 Ton Wrecker To Part Out

RE: Long Boom Jacks I would be interested in the 5-ton winch snatch block, if original equipment.

    Aberdeen vendors listing

Is there a listing of the vendors, who were signed up for last year's Aberdeen, I have some second hand information that a vendor from PA may have Ford 8x8 parts and figured I could just call them one by one and ask..... Thanks,
