brake couplings I fitted a service line in the same method but(permenantly affixed) on the front as per M54,and a shut off on the airpack.(where its "Td" in) the emergeancy line if fitted as well (twice air store) good for reserve on hills and (required) check braking!

How did you strip that plug? what tool were you using? anywaze if you have a decent welder( machine and man!) weld a GOOD hex on there and remove it WHILE STILL HOT!! with a GOOD & good fitting wrench. AND BREAKER BAR>good luck. I did TWO that way!

PUMP I dont think thats the case .my montego (diesel car) WILL NOT run if the fuel pump is not working . and non of the FIVE trucks I have will run pumpless iether....(enuf revs? they might?)..but as I said we once had a Ballache fitting (the) spare pump I carry! (as you do!?) at the roadside...
