I remember the Canadians came down to Camp Grayling Mi. for some joint forces training back in the eighties and they had at least one M34. They also had Military CJ's if I remember correctly. They were carring Sten's also I believe.
Yeah, I'm leaving from work in the morning so I'm about 20 minutes closer. I gotta get some stuff done around the house so I can only come out and play so much. I'm surprised she didn't have a cow when I told her I was going for just one day.
Well I told the wife "Okay, you don't have to go, I'll just go all by my lonesome." (BWAAAA HAAAAAA HAAAAAAA!!! She bought it!) So I'll be there Thursday. I'm gonna look for some new steps and mudflaps, don't know if I can afford much more right now. Did a nice swap with Justin from La...
I'd actually like to get a Petrogen torch, it uses gasoline and oxygen. We have them on our heavy rescues. It makes it much easier to refill and will cut way thicker stuff than Acetylene. A lot safer and cheaper too.
I need to make some repairs to the bed, and the fenders and doors have some bad spots as well. I have an Oxy/Acetylene setup, so I was thinking of cutting out some of the bad spots and brazing in new pieces. I know it would be nice to have a MIG or TIG, but the best I would be able to swing is...
It's probably not the right thing to do, but I'd stop, render any aid needed, and then tell the moron he got exactly what he deserved. And not nicely.
My daughter is in the process of getting her license, and the first thing I told her was that she'd done a lot of things in her life, but...
Oh great. Now you got girl cooties all over you man cave!! You can't EVER let a girl in the man cave, especially to paint! Next thing you know they'll be putting doillies & smelly candles everywhere.
Okay, I found 0525 17738. I noticed that same # was also on the ID tag under the contract # block, but I just assumed it was the number that a block of trucks were ordered under.
OK Carnac, this is what I have for you;
M35A2 Wo/W was told it may be a '74
A.) VIN: 04A87031
B.) REG: Unknown
C.) NSN: 2320000771616
D.) GL Possibly somewhere in Indiana (From what I was told, bought from third owner-no title. Bought near Hamilton Oh.)

There'd be a lot more room if we deleted all the posts flaming a new guy who broke a rule for the first time. There's no way a new guy is gonna remember every single rule and adhere to it strictly until they've been here a little bit. If someone breaks a rule a few times, say something...
I've seen a lot of stuff about texting and cell phone usage, and a lot of people wanting to ban those two things. But they are just hot buttons in a much bigger problem. There's a LOT of stuff people do that's just as bad, driving with fluffy in your lap, putting on eyeliner, reading the...
Well I should've known, that seems like a real dumass way to figure weight classifications. Seems like a better and simpler way to do it would be to just post a weight limit on the bridge. Every time you put a different load on the truck it weighs different. You'd have to change your plate...
I'm not able to find any info on what the numbers on the data plates mounted on the front of MV's mean. I assume it tells the engineers what certain vehicles weigh so they aren't allowed to cross temporary bridges that can't hold them, but they could just stencil weights on vehicles if that's...
