Have you tried a manual gauge yet? You might have the 120 sender in it already. I'd do the gauge first and verify it with a manual gauge, then, if needed, change the sender.

Look at the mount on the engine. I have seen the 8 capscrews break and that lets the front drop down. Take pictures of what you find.

Atleast you'd be able to see the trailer when towing it...well, the tires at least!

I think it states in one of the manuals NOT to put duals on the 105. When it's loaded, the fenders hit the tires.
