Hmmm.....the toe in shouldn't have anything to do with the width of the tire, you measure the difference between the front and back at the center of the tire and it should be about 1/8 to 3/16 inch or so for the deuce IIRC.
Image below for the radial tires on the 8x8.
Kenny, that's exactly what I had in mind as a "manual" substitute for the CTIS, easier to keep working at sub zero temps also, when you may get in trouble with the sophisticated, computerized CTIS (I think the TMs even states not to use it below -10°F or something like that).
Found this, now...
Re: RE: odd turn signal guards
The arch is a stronger structure.
When I replaced my front turn signal/park composits, I had to modify the mounting holes to make them fit the original guards. I can see that they had to redsign it for a better fit, don't know why they made it rectangular (=not...
We read a lot about CTIS and how well it serves (when working) as a traction enhancing device, now 99.9% of us don't have the CTIS, but have to deflate/inflate tires manually. My questions is, what kind of gadgets do the off-roaders use to simplify this process?
PS. This applies to all wheeled...
Three (3).
It's an MS3106a16-10s connector.
If you have it, and don't mind parting with it, just cut the wires from the harness on the vehicle to free the connector. the wires are tagged "A", "B" and "C".
Let me know how much $$.
I need one for my intermittant buzzer circuit shown in another...
Does anyone have this connector from a parts vehicle, that he would be willing to part with?
It's the female MS connector that plugs into the turn signal flasher. A few inches of the wiring would be helpful to.
Thanks
Question for Tatra owners, I noticed this gauge in one of the youtube videos and am wondering if it's the tire pressure gauge (CTIS), anybody know?
If so, is it graduated in BAR, thanks.

It's like a "tank on wheels". :-)
I get about 5 inches (10 to 15 cm) of water during moderate acceleration with a filter element that's almost new....
The "dirty air filter" monitor by the steering wheel is full red at about 20 inches of water IIRC.
You'd be surprised how much less annoying the intermittant beep...beep...beep is.
Again, here is one solution, which would also keep a spare flasher available if/when the turn signal one fails.
The oil pan is turned around on some engine models, so there are two different locations for the dip stick. The port that isn't used is ideal for a return line from the bypass filter (and/or crankcase breather filter if one is installed).
I'm using 3/8" "Push-on" fittings here and it works well...
This has been a bit of a problem for me too, since day one of owning the deuce.
Here are my partial solutions:
1) Clean all light passages on the instruments
2) Use 1/8 inch spacers to move the light fixtures a little further into the dash, so that the bulb filament is not hidden.
3) Use a bulb...
