I honestly don't recall seeing the mounts or markings for it. I've been debating doing it in the cab corner behind the seat, but haven't pursued it. I'm also doing a minor mod to mount the Pioneer Rack like the Marines did on the rear of the cab.
Just remembered. a range that I shoot at, has a HMMWV. I'm guessing they use it for hauling around some metal targets and stuff from storage or similar. I haven't actually seen them drive it, but it's always in different places, so...
Sales discussions belong in the sales forum guys.
One gent did put up a CAD of a airlift bumper, but I was having issues seeing it at work, don't know what became of that thread...
That's different. That was Probably the Blue Force Tracker.
This is mainly a shipping/transportation related thing. The same tags can be put on parts, inside containers from 40' milvans to mini-tri-walls. It's designed to work with civilian and military receivers.
IT's the holder for an RF Tag.
I think I might have one laying around if anyone wants to add that level of realism to their truck. They take a really odd 3.2V battery IIRC.
EUC and SF97 are separate.
There should be no EUC on the M939 trucks.
You will need the SF97 to apply for a title and plates.
You should be ok driving it off post to your storage/residence and then leaving it there until the paperwork comes through.
All posts became closed posts after 9/11. To varying degrees. These days, all installations require non-DoD personnel to get guest passes or be brought on base by DoD ID Card holders. This is why dependents are valuable delivery drivers around major installations.
This is part of the process to allow ANYONE to visit a military base now. They will run you, and conduct a background check. We had this happen a few years ago at Bragg when they instituted the system. had MULTIPLE contractors come through the pass office and get arrested by the MPs/DoD...
The M1088 is taller than a commercial rig.
A M916, at least the sets they've been selling recently, have some decent tires, not just standard . Might be more an option.
Yeah.... that's a $10k part in the Army. Sealed unit. Got one back from rebuild that had a bad screen/CPU pack. Thankfully it was covered under warranty from Red River...
I'm guessing something happened to the actual computer portion of the panel. you'll need a programmer to look into it.
I can probably hook up a CB or use GRMS. I used to have a powerful radio that could work on FRS, but haven't been able to charge the battery in a few years.
