New to me M1075 and M1074 PLS

Depending on the height of your platform, 3" would get you to the same height as a standard 20' connex. So, you should be ok.

New to me M1075 and M1074 PLS

Not ALL PLS have the cranes, only some. Your limiting factor is depending on how you're loading it. The hook pull/load strength is the issue. PLS is 16.5ST if I recall correctly. IF you don't have to hook the connex/platform onto the truck, the weight is 22ST I think? I'ts been a while and...

    Just got M916A3

So, seems that a lot of the requirements for the M916 is being replaced by the M1088, even if we don't agree with it, that appears to be the word on the street. The M915s are staying, but more with the NG than AD. (especially the M915A5s which were/are initially fielded only to the NG)...

M1123 Purchase and Build Thread - Virginia

Curious... was your truck repainted by GP/their contractor? or did it just have a good job out of the USMC? I'm wondering because of that big as sticker that they put on the front passenger side. Seems to not be the smartest idea to put something like that on a truck that just got a paint job...

    Rear Airlift Bumper - dimensions

the website compressed it down, and it's not readable (to me) I'd suggest uploading the original to imgur.com or photobucket or something, and then providing the direct link. That way we can see your writing.

Transportion needed M923A2 from Indiana to Anchorage Alaska

There's at least 2 guys I know... names escape me, that have driven trucks from Bragg to Washington, and one continued on to Seattle. Shipping just isn't practical. This time of year, I think the recommendation is the "southern route" vs. fighting the weather on the northern portion of the US...

Sat 11/12/16 Downtown Orlando FL: Orlando Veterans Day Parade

Pretty Common. the Fayetteville Parade is allocated on footage in a way. It's usually for staging and doesn't matter on the route. But they have to fit all the distances and space into the staging areas. For ours, as an example, most of the marching bands are actually staged on Bragg Blvd...

A few questions about "is this normal for a HMMWV"

Every HMMWV I had, especially in the colder weather, would have the volt meter surge during start up. I always took that as the "walk around, check lights" portion of PMCS. I wouldn't allow my driver, or drive, until the truck had settled, and that was one of the indicators.

    New to Me M998

It's a bit crazy the amount of stuff I've seen crammed into command HMMWVs. Especially when we got the M1165s, (Armored 4-door) we had radios and **** crammed everywhere for the senior guys. Side story: when I was in Iraq, our job included categorization, inventory, some de-install, of...
