Pull the entire gauge panel or pull just the suspect gauge...it is all upto the person holding the meter. Are they lazy? Then they'll probably pull the entire gauge cluster. Are they conscientious about GL customer? Then they'll just pull what they need. If they do pull the entire gauge...
I think the radium gauge check will constantly be an issue. According to GL, there are only certain FEDs who are able to perform this particular check on the gauges. These guys seem to be few and far between. Some installations are just pulling the entire gauge panels to avoid these issues...

Sure it will work. I just used a bungee cord to suspend the rear most of driveshaft until I got the PTO's ordered. In fact I did that on all 3 of my trucks. I had the front winches but no PTO and had access to a cherry picker for that weekend. I got them all mounted and bungeed them.
