    Start off in 2nd gear....start off in 1st gear....drive with wide open throttle during a cold start....drive continously at redline.....pull the shut off without the 5 minute cool down....     Josh a boot only take about 30 minutes to install. I got the zippered type. The retaining rings are a bit tricky but really doesn't take much time at all. A boot will run you about $25. All you need is a screwdriver

    Definately is a labor of love to wrench on these old machines. Sore back, banged up knuckles, smashed thumbs, grease in my hair, sore neck, crap in my eyes, and lovely aroma of GL-1 on my clothes....doesn't get any better than this at the pharmacy.
