I can't tell on the '07 engines because they..the VGT actuators, are "smart devices". The '02 - '06 engines, the actuators on the turbo were all over the place, light, moderate or heavy load. Guess it depends on what the ECM decides the EGR pressure needs to be at a given load. Jason, that's...
RE: Muffler
Electronic mufflers. Flow is left to right. Two parts to the muffler, end caps on each end.
1st sensor...cat inlet temp. 2nd sensor...DPF inlet temp. 3rd sensor...DPF outlet temp. See the square lookin sensor with the tubes on it? That's the differential pressure sensor. Combined...

If there is a number on the sensor, maybe you can find out what it does thru the above site. Keep us posted, I'd like to know too.
The yellow one is definatley for an electric tach. What trans does it have? Only a late model Allison would need an input for RPM. The other...don't have a clue. It's only measuring the fuel pressure in the the body, not the rail pressure. It has 4 wires, could be a temp sensor. What kind of...
Maybe he was trying to get the mileage up by singling the rears? Less rolling resistance  WHEW! no punctuation! majortom, I sometimes write my stories in the work orders like that to screw with the office monkeys...it works! :P
I'm a bit confused on the maximum back pressure. Remember, I've been doing the diesel repair thing for a while now. From as early as I can remember, Cummins spec for maximum allowable exhaust back pressure has been 3 in.hg. for all of their engines, from the 4B to the big K's. Time goes on, 2002...
It's not so much as a flywheel housing, but a flat bellhousing adaptor that allows the GM manual or autos to bolt to it. There is a straight and a 15 degree tilt available.
RE: Re: RE: Looking for body and or hood
Sorry. There are two bros that have a great MV bone yard out here in So Cal., Fontana. There is ALOT of stuff there. A few of us were there this last Sat. They just got a bunch of new items in. One of them is a pallet of 4, Goodyear Wranglers for a...

Enjoy!
Yesterday at the Fontana yard, We were poking around and they have one of those trailers with another genset mounted above the fifthwheel. I wanted the boarding ladder out of it, but no go. Asked tom when they got it and I gues it's been there for a few years! There is way too much stuff there!
Oh, BTW, my neighbors are more immune to it than my wife. Had the truck a few years, she has only put her butt in the seat 1 or 2 times. She likes it ONLY when it makes the school PTA $. Oh well, her loss
Nice lookin' truck! I opted for the glasspak thing too. The BWWWAAAAAA of the LDT465 was drowning out the sweet sound of the turbo. Now the BWWWAAAAAA is gone...mostly...and the sweet sound of the turbo is what you hear as it approaches...well, that and the fan!
