If I had to do it, i'd go to NAPA or an RV place, buy some 4 wire trailer cord and a 4 pin flat or round plug...depending on what the tow vehicle has...and a cheap set of lights. Then just piggyback the 12v system so it could be towed with the civi or the MV with no bulb changing. Or...
A friend of mine got a deuce from GL. It's in great shape. It started life as a gasser and no numbers on the frame. There was a 2 in. round brass tag wired to the front drivers side loop in the fender well. The VIN is stamped on that.

A tad south of there, Randsburg, Ca. It's getting rougher by the year more parts are missing. There WAS a for sale sign on it last year, but not now.
I saw an M35A3 at Fontana that was from MS. The charge air cooler was growing! it was almost twice the size from the corrosion going on. The trans was solid white. If you touched it, pieces flaked off.
