My 1988 McGraw Pioneer Tool Trailer

Was just loading some tool boxes into the trailer (main reason I bought it) and found a Coleman Vantage Series generator user manual. There's also a miniaturized, laminated copy of the XVIII Airborne Corps Risk Assessment Worksheet inside the door. the data plate, inside curb side, is in very...

    M880 factory colour ?

Sadly... for restoration purposes... the shop that painted the truck for Iowa DNR did it right. They pulled the seat and the bed. The only place I've found green so far is when we pulled the tail lights. Overall I'm very happy with the color. I have the paint to do MERDEC but I'm wondering...

My 1988 McGraw Pioneer Tool Trailer

Preventative maintenance restoration right now. I need it for practical use first and then will do a better actual restoration on it.

My 1988 McGraw Pioneer Tool Trailer

I was thinking that. I never saw a M... listed for the trailer. I knoew it's not a M116A2, but didn't know if there was another model number somewhere. So, for the VIN... would I use the trailer serial number of the Pioneer serial number? GP used the Pioneer, but it also goes back to the...

My 1988 McGraw Pioneer Tool Trailer

Hey guys, starting a thread for my Pioneer Tool Trailer I won from GovPlanet at the end of October. I'm going to try and consolidate my adventures with it on this thread. First question that's up right now... How to I label the titling for this? I have the SF87 request from GovPlanet, It's...

    M880 factory colour ?

I'll be honest, my 34079 (Flat 24079 form Home Depot) is darker than I expected. Judging by the black tires and comparing my black brush guard (since my tires are old and not really a 'bright' black), I'd say it is a good possibility it's 34079. we're also looking at a scan of a printed...

Do the LMTVs currently coming from GovPlanet have clean SF97s?

I know a few guys have LMTVs here (Proximity X just sold his WITH NC Title and Plates), and no issues.

    LMTV CTIS does not deflate

You can hear the valves when they go. I'd recommend the same as Suprman. Deflate the tires manually and kick the engine on, and see what happens. a BFH may be required to assist the valves.

    Securing/Locking the Lunette

So, I bought a lunette lock and 4x hardened locks from etrailer. It came extremely fast... up until my postal carrier didn't read the instructions to "leave if no response". It took longer to cut the ziptie off the lunette lock to get it out of the packaging than anything else. I installed...

2006 Iraq Harley Davidson used by British

They sold a few hundred through Harley Dealerships a number of years ago. They were competing for a US DoD contract and lost out, but still had the bikes. There's also 2 boxes that mount on the front fork, as part of the attempt to reduce the heat signature. I've kept my eyes out for them and...

    NSN 8340015139655 manual?

NSN only points to this for me: DHS, 8 TON ECU, 96,000 BTU/HR, GREEN, 208V/60HZ, SKID MOUNTED, FORK LIFTABLE, TO BE USED WITH DRASH SHELTERS MANUFACTURED AFTER JANUARY 2003. I can't find a TM Associated with NIIN 01-513-9655 I'd say you need to find a different NSN for the entire item.

Possibly buying an M1009 and have a question

No experience with CUCVs, but when my 06 Dodge Ram did that, the Transfer Case was shot, thankfully replaced under warranty. But it was the same thing. Put it in 4WD, was going through some sand, touch the brakes and it'd pop out and into 2WD. Diagnosed it before I went to Iraq and had my...

Ha! Who says HMMWV's don't have creature comforts

A common modification was the use of 32oz Gatorade bottles cut at the first "indent" and screwed to the 'dash' to act as cup holders in a bunch of the Rigger HMMWVs, no idea why just those ones, but they had a few of them modified like that.
