There's plenty of mil-surp gauges out in the market that everything can be replaced with ones that are practically new, or take offs if guys start scrapping out un-fixable (or un-economically fixable) HMMWVs and FMTVs
Hit me up tomorrow morning. I'm going to try to head to the local gun show around 10 or so. if you can hit me before then it's cool, otherwise shoot me a text so I can get outside.
I don't have a ramp in my AO, but I can get you a valid number for AAA and find a ramp... I've been meaning to find one. Seems like I should be able to.
Interesting. I don't recall it being in a CUCV Ambulance. I recall it being a bench seat, but....
Do you have some pics or diagrams?
Edit: Thanks Natem
ok guys, I should have saved the picture last night, because I can't find it now. I was on a site, and there was a CUCV (or similar). It had a tall shelf mounted over the transfer case lever that looked like it was a Radio Rack mount shelf. just wondering if anyone has seen it or have a...
So, I have received my 1977 NC Plate, I'll add some pics later.
Also got the amber lenses to replace the red and blue. I'm going to work on some plasti-dip to see if I can "un-chrome" the light bar since it wouldn't exactly fit in.
May also start taking a wire brush wheel to the bed where...
wow, I'm really surprised by the reaction. considering these were on craigslist, no idea where they could have ended up, at least he saved them from an off-roader or scrap. Especially if it was beyond restore-able. Put a piece of glass on top and it will look great.
wrecker, interesting about the tax, haven't heard of that here. This tractor is on the "main" DLA/GP lot on Bragg. Never had any issues driving off yet. And Yes, I'll take some pics and video (as allowed) of this recovery.
It appears to be this one. My assumption is it is one of two Patriot Prime Movers that were on the lot when I stopped by and was recovering the other week. Advantage of these PPMs was the readiness state they were in. You know these didn't sit around and rot in a motorpool.
hearing the frame woes, I might suggest a transplant. If you are familiar/experience with metal fab, then most of it won't be an issue. If you already have an idea for the back/box/cargo, then I'd say go for a "idealized" resto, keep the old dodge front but upgraded (as needed) elsewhere.
