Sometimes.
depending on how swollen it is often it will be swollen just enough to not pass the threads, but by using one of those tools like I linked to you are pulling back and turning and that will pull it into the threads and basically squeeze it down and cut threads as it goes.
I get...
I have the same one, you can buy them here.
However I like this one better, as it doesn't require as much clearance to work with and is easier to use in situations where things are tight, like in a HMMWV or a 6.9/7.3 with an after market turbo.
Is this the one you are looking at?
It is Chinese. The quality is not what an AC one is, but they do work. My experience is they either fail really quick, within a few weeks, or they last long term, I have seen used or used myself about 2 dozen and I saw 2 fail, both failed within the first...
Either get a quote from GL's Fastrack Logistics or have the closest UPS store go buy and get it if they will. Either will cost you more than you paid for it most likely.
Unless someone on here is already going up there and can get an appointment scheduled for the same time to get it for you.
Are you looking for just the tower, or the electronics to boost the cell signal?
This is the kind of thing you need for the electronics. Make sure you get one compatible with the frequency range of your phone and provider.
For the tower, PM Streamline on here and he has the stuff to hook you up.
Yep. I know an old school bus mechanic who had one of his drivers fill the bus with gas once. He went in, siphoned some out, dumped 1 quart of motor oil for every gallon of gas and sent the driver on his way. The old Detroit drank it just fine.
If your 80 gallon tank is full it won't hurt anything.
If it only has 5 gallons in it that is another story, top it off with diesel.
5% gasoline won't hurt anything. VW and Mercedes used to even suggest adding up to 20% in cold climates in the 70's and 80's to help starting if you didn't have...
If it starts and runs briefly before dying most likely you are losing prime in the fuel system. Usually that is because your fuel return lines/caps are leaking and it is time to put a new return line kit in it.
That solves the start then die issue 99% of the time.
Are you trying to make a lunette ring or make a pintle hook that mounts on the truck?
Either way it is probably not a good idea if you plan to tow with it.
I would put at least a 100A fuse/fusible on the glow plugs. In perfect math they are an 80A draw but you want the fuse to blow when a draw higher than normal is applied, not a normal load. There is some variance in resistance even on new plugs and if your glow plugs draw just 10% higher then...
Should be a metric 10mmx1.0 thread, it is a very fine thread most 10mm items are either 1.5 or 1.25.
Here is a link to the right tap if you can't find it locally. http://amzn.to/2klHXmq
Actually looking at it again I would pull the injector and see if I could spin it into the head all the way so it can be pulled out intact from the injector hole.
That sucks. Was it giving a lot of resistance before it went?
You are going to need to break off that electrical connector, drill with a left handed drill bit and get an extractor in there.
Before that go ahead and pull the injector look at the injector and see if it is swollen. If so go ahead...
