I’ve been trying for the most part of the day to bleed the brakes. I got a sprayer and filled it with a gallon of purple dot 5. Went to the master cylinder bleed nipples and connected the sprayer. Went to the rear tire and opened the bleed screw and … nothing. Cleaned out the bleed screw- no...
I tried to tackle this project today. Everything went ok until I tried to get the new sleeves in. SEEnebraska mentioned an interference fit.
So I’m wondering how he’s overcome this interference fit. Someone else mentioned the pins ‘walked out ‘ and he used vice grips to push them back in. Are...
Damn autocorrect. Of course I meant RV, that’s why I posted a link with the specs of my RV, but you clicked on the link and knew what I meant, right?
@Chainbreaker The unit I’m talking of buying is a genpro gillette cg03-01f. Do you have the part number for the 50 amp spider box?
They are not the cage nuts . But rather threaded into the sheed metal , I think I’ll either drill out and use Riv nuts or tap to next larger bolt size.
I want to power my RV with a 806b . How do I accomplish it?

About to tackle the shifter bushing.
Are there any updated hints on how to get the collar off? I’m considering using a large wrench (large enough to get around the shifter) and a pry bar to push down on it and put tension on the spring. I bought some 16” channel pliers. I hope I won’t have to...
How does the crane cable connect to the drum of the HEMTT crane?
I am considering buying 3/8 synthetic rope rather than 7/16 stainless steel cable. Has anyone done and documented it?
Still on the fence on synthetic vs stainless steel .
Are the cylinder end caps hard to get off?
I found a thread whilst reading through the posts (can't find it anymore of course) , but this individual listed a bunch of tools and an entire seal kit from ebay. I managed to save the ebay listings, but not the thread, to read through it again.
Can...
I had to remove a couple of panels on the mep806b to get access to things. Of course a bunch of the bolts sheered right off. How do y’all repair these ? They are threaded into the sheet metal and not those insert type of deals.
The bolts I replaced with stainless steel hardware.
Is the normal air pressure around 70psi? The way the connections are, it doesn’t look like they could support much more than that.
Also I’m wondering if anyone swapped them for push in fittings?
in many instances before, finding lose bolts and things give a good indication what needs to be fixed on a newly bought vehicle.
So I never just toss stuff out and disregard it.
