What is it? I am curious. Looks like its job is to hold two parallel lines or hoses in place.

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

Good work. It’s nice to see how much you care about this M1009. She deserves it. Lots of issues can be prevented if the truck does not stand outside in the weather all year long. This is what I would work on. Finding a dry and safe spot for her. How many miles did you put on since the truck is...

    M1009 Little Red Riding Hood.

One day we will see this masterpiece fully assembled and ready to go and we know that every single bold was optimized for better performance. That’s a great build, Rick. Looking forward to it. Take care.

No project without setbacks. Just keep going, keep calm and have fun. If you have no fun right now just take a break and continue when you feel it’s right.

Buy it for $350 and sell it to the scrapyard for $750 - good deal.

    M1009 Little Red Riding Hood.

JP310 Chrome Free Etch Primer and JP33X 2K Urethane Sealer could be a solid combination. Primer surfacer is an option but should not be necessary. If you want to reach 100% maybe think about the surfacer. Just thinking and discussing from my experience. If I would do another new paint job I...

Rick, if you like you may send me the Blackout Light switches including the wiring. I would really appreciate it. Are you ok with that?

What did you do to your trailer today.

I did the same - no results, no success. A good friend of mine changed the shocks on his trailer and they fitted perfectly. So I just did the copy and paste thing. Tell me if you need the correct part number.

What did you do to your trailer today.

Installed new monroe shocks to my M101A1 today. The old ones were just a little bit wasted.

Maybe one of the very original 1983 Goodyear Wrangler tires should be honored as spare tire in the M1009. One original tire the CUCV was born with back in 1983. This could be a unique item - just for historical reasons, not recommended for driving.

There is an option for a lighting? Nice. Didn't know that.

A dog is an essential part of the family. Sorry for the painful loss. He had a german name. It is Hänsel or Haensel in german. He will never be forgotten and this is a great honor. Very nice and clean work on the M1009. I like it very much! Rust needs to be afraid of CUCVRUS. Take care.
