Welcome from Farmington Hills, Michigan!
Have you ridden in any MV's? i would be happy to give you a ride in my M35A2 and my other buddy has a M925A2 he could give you a ride in I'm sure. Just do your homework on each one, read lots and make the best decision you can. Welcome to the madness!
My Street Rod uses DOT 5 as well as the Deuce. Every couple years I need to top off the brake fluid on my street rod. I have never seen any leaks but it just seems to use some ever so slightly. Now, I have looked over the brake lines and there are never any leaks or even any remote wetness...
Spray gun works a lot better than brush and I think looks better. Painting is easy, its all the prep work that takes time. It all depends how nice you want it to look. If you are going to do the whole truck on the outside, 2-3 gallons would be good. if you are doing 3 color camo, I would get 2...
I ride in 74M35A2's M925A2 once in a while and that does 67 when the pedal is to the floor and the governor does not let it go any faster than that. Its a good speed/control for the vehicle. I mean its a no brainer... hold it to the floor and the governor doesn't let it go any faster. For me, I...
I would love to! throw my aux fuel tank in the back and hit the road. It was great offroading there with you guys. I miss it and miss you guys. It was still the best offroad park I have ever been to. You all better enjoy it and have one for me! haha
Well I went to Silver Lake Sand Dunes this past weekend. I first drove on the sand with my aired down (35 PSI) 9.00-20 radial commercial street tires (firestone) and 20% tread NDTs on the rear aired down to 10 PSI. The truck did very well getting around but still would not climb any somewhat...
Well that's not bad I suppose. I just wish it was an over the counter easy to get filter. Obviously we don't need to replace them all of the time, but it would be nice if it was an item we could get at Napa instead of mail order.
I would still like to see where somebody built a new air filter...
Has anybody ever done a successful swap or modification of the under hood air filter assembly on a Deuce? Stock air filter is about 410 CFM I believe and I was wondering if anybody was able to put something else in that was up around 540CFM? from the numbers I crunched, it looks like 810 CFM...
I have about 40,000 miles that I put on my truck since I bought it. When I bought it, it had 23,686 miles on it. I drive it a lot and by a lot means I drove it to work today. It has never left me walking once in all those miles. I did a complete frame off after I crashed it and it has been an...
What engine RPM do you run when you are operating your wrecker? I know the max engine speed when using the front winch was something like 1800 rpm. Any faster than that it will push the seals out of the control valve I guess. Just wondering if too much RPM is causing issues and making it build...
The heater needs to be gravity fed. The control valve acts just like a carburetor... it has a float inside. When the heater is not in use, i suggest you put a shot off valve on the bigger tank as well. It never hurts to have too many shut offs. I would also suggest your tank not use the factory...
