Diesel Performance in Memphis does really good rebuilds. Takes about a week and can be done faster. I think they have some to buy to not exactly sure at the moment
From the green machine?
It currently on a pallet covered up. I had to give an alt to a friend to get his truck running. I'm going to eventually rebuild it and go through it. I believe the pump was just going again and I didn't have the want to do another IP at the time. I just kept throwing...
I understand that. I have done the kingpin springs and bushings and I can't find anything in the steering components that is worn out or sloppy. Frame is not busted the little leather thing on the steering shaft isn't gone. I'm figuring it is my tires.
I ran a identical set on my Dodge Durango...
Hahaha.
Sounds good to me.
The new dampener did help the death wobble issue. I think new tires will take care of the last bit. My tires are getting kinda worn out and I think may be coming apart on the inside. Oh well. Another day and another dollar to put into the truck. I'm going mudding...
I put a new steering dampener on and filled up the washer fluid on the green machine. Now to figure out why the sprayer pumps all the time when I turn on the whipers
They seem to be fine, no slop in them and they spin free when I turn the front shaft with the hub's unlocked. I do have a slight vibration at about 55 when I leave my front hubs locked which was not happening back before ga rally but I think I may back dented the shaft a little or it Just needs...
For certain.
I need to figure out this death wobble. I think part of it is my worn out tires, I just put new king pin bushings and springs in last November ish and it helped some. Probably need tires and a steering stabilizer or a duel set up
I have turned that 454 to 52-5300 rpm and didn't blow her. I was rolling about 75 and jerked it back in 2nd and set it on the floor when I dropped it back in 3rd it jerked a crick in my neck it shifd so hard. I usually run 4500 max. 3k is my high-speed cruising 60-65 is 3k.
Had it to 100mh...
454 is going strong finally. I finally have it set right I believe, and have the fuel lines done right. I used it tow my 16ft trailer with a Polaris rzr side-by-side and a fourwheeler and it never noticed it back there.
Fuel it will drink faster than I can dump it in there. I can easily go...
Thanks buddy.
Working on getting more video up.
I may shorten the intro a little. It's kinda long for some videos. People's attention span is usually so short now days
